Fortunately, Crandall sent me out a new chair which seems to be better. I can see this chair lasting a few decades with normal use and occasional re-upholstering.Highly recommended. The customer service was great, too. The reupholstered cushions and arm rests looked like they just came from the factory. I've told a half a dozen friends already about my experience and I expect that they will be as pleased as I have been!Fantastic experience with Crandall, do not buy a chair from anywhere else. I liked the Crandall chair and the upholstery so much I wanted to send my wife's chair to be reupholstered in vinyl with the additional cushion padding. My only complaint with the Crandall Office chair is they do not offer the leather material (they may be vegans though so I cannot pass judgement) on the seating. I highly recommend Crandall.
