I do enjoy Oswald's narration. I found myself getting a bit bored by the misadventures after a while.The last book featuring the Bastables, and perhaps the weakest in purely narrative flow.

I do enjoy Oswald's narration. The Bastable children are incorrigible and their adventures are original. She is E. Nesbit, known best for her children's novel ' The Railway Children' , although many of her other novels were considered more accomplished. I just wish I could have read the other books first.E.
