The Aeron chair does not have a single straight line. All is now well with the chair. I ordered the chair with the Vintage English vinyl. I now have to arrange to have it picked up by UPS--also something that I had to email Crandall to find out. Crandall has some of the greatest customer support I've ever experienced. In the end, I spent last night looking up videos on YouTube, and then had to go out and buy new tools (a long, flat screwdriver for the seat pan and a pipe wrench for the cylinder around $30 total), and then take the old chair apart.

My leap v1 remanufactured chair arrived with a large tear in the box and some components were missing so I messaged them and within 2 days I already had all the missing components mailed to my doorstep. The pamphlet of instructions could be more clear though.I recently ordered a leap V2 with some customization from Crandall. My son in law is ordering one for his work. I am so happy I did. It arrived within a week of me placing the order and was very simple to assemble using the included instructions. That means it has been completely taken apart and checked for worn or broken parts and if found those parts were replaced with genuine Herman Miller Parts. However, I would have preferred leather as an option. I could always try their 30 day return policy if the chair was junk, right? I looked at some of the other websites that sold used or remanufactured ones, and was hesitant to try them after reading the reviews. Watch;
There is a longer than normal turn around because of COVID, but that’s as expected.Y’all...I graduated from a dilapidated Office Max chair to this magical butt-cradle, and it’s like sitting on a GD cloud.It was an investment piece and we’re only on week 2, so I can’t speak to longevity or warranty, but if you need a new chair because you’re “old” and sore like me, this is a great option.Everything is adjustable on this puppy. The chair exceeded my expectations in comfort and looks. The customer service was great, too. Her chair. The problem was that I couldn’t bring myself to drop 1k on a new chair. Hope this helps.
