Then turn it ON. The controls on the display are disabled, and the dispenser does not operate even if you push the lever. I’ll let you know how it goes.I’m having the same exact issue as Mike. I have a French door bottom freezer Samsung and freezer will not get below 4 degrees. When working properly this component keeps in check the temperature of the refrigerator and transmits the information on the temperature reading to the control board so that appropriate power can be supplied to the evaporator fan as well as the compressor for effective cooling in return.But when the thermistor is defective both the compressor and the evaporator fan may not work properly.This component allows the power to flow to the heater.When its failed, power will not flow and heater will not able to heats up and melt ice or frost which may build up on the evaporator coils.Apart from replacing any components found defective, the following actions can be taken to fix the inability of the fridge to cool. If you will notice a lot of frost or ice build up on the evaporator coils behind that panel, then most likely an issue with one of the parts mentioned before. The freezer works perfect.
Could it be a freon issue?Hi Vash, you need to defrost it completely, then remove that panel “Twin Cooling” and see if any ice left in the drain hole. Then you need to remove back panel where it says Twin Cooling. Cause temp may vary depends where you measure it.I have a glass of water inside and I use a digital thermometer. It did shut off when I opened the door. Tested multiple areas inside fridge space. first it gave me error code of of I cleared that somehow.. not using the way the guy I talked to at Samsung said .. then I got a error code 84 e and cleared that somehow .
