A man lives in a lovely apartment with his wife and 2 children. While the meaning of the MK symbolism of the movie probably flew about a mile above most viewer’s heads, only a little knowledge of the subject is required to make the entire thing extremely overt and blatant. As Ming-ji waits for her husband outside, a deranged homeless man accosts her children, but they are rescued by apartment resident Joo-hee. He then goes to … At the beginning of "Hide and Seek," I thought I was going to be interested in the characters all the way to the end, but then the plot went on autopilot. As the ritual begins, the sun comes up.The Le Domas family (including Alex) looks around the room, waiting for their fate. Flashbacks reveal that Sung-soo was adopted. Now, the other family members have no choice but to kill Grace before dawn...or else meet an unknown, but terrible, fate.There's no talking the Le Domas family out of killing Grace, as they've already gone through this ritual years before. Sung-soo uncovers a hidden panel that connect Sung-chul’s apartment with Eun-hye’s. Joo-hee takes Pyeong-hwa to the other apartment building, terrorizing Min-ji and her children once again.
She’s helped by a local woman, Su Hong (Qin Hailu), who also has a young daughter of the same age, Li Xiaoping (Fan Qianhui); she invites the family back for a coffee at her flat, which is next to that of Zhang Jiawei’s brother. Trimming some of the ones that stretch too long might have sped the pace and made “Hide and Seek” a bona fide classic, but most of the moments are still effectively executed with expert precision. Sung-soo learns that this man is Eun-hye’s boyfriend, who has been searching for her since she too disappeared.

You want so badly to see this persistent, faceless, silent stalker unmasked that you end up exemplifying those clichéd thriller descriptions as you find yourself edging up in your seat with an ever-tightening grip on the armrest, remote, or nearest loved one.“Hide and Seek” arrives in an era when genre films constantly work around modern conveniences, always finding ways for cell phones to not work, or cutting a power cord to jump a scripting hurdle that way. Sung-soo returns home to find the strange code system scrawled underneath all of the doorbells in his building. He goes to a bad part of town hunting for a long lost brother, leaving his wife and children in their car. The truth of that damning accusation is a matter of some question. “Hide and Seek” features twists, flashbacks, and red herrings, but it is otherwise a straightforward tale that rarely slows down long enough to become predictable because its style is so invigorated.
