God can use our meager offering and cause it to grow into something beautiful.

Now we have this treasure in clay jars, Humbling? But freeing? It actually took me 3 tries to read through this because of constant interruptions from my kids. That is something I pray daily… What has encouraged me is to know that God doesn’t have favorite children. At A-Muse-ings you'll find interviews with celebrity pets by Muse, Writer's feline investigative reporter, humorous explanations of Bible verses, and sometimes Muse Reviews of great books, movies, and events. A flawless masterpiece revealing a life unmarred by pain, free from sin and struggle and oh-so-gloriously, enviously, sickeningly perfect.

How does that glorify God? I’ve had to push back against the lie that God can’t use me unless my motives are ALWAYS 100% pure, unless I reach some ethereal level of holiness, or unless I finally get my act together and stop being so stinkin’ scatterbrained. But just as I was struggling through this season of stuckness, I was reminded of these truths:How can that be? But we can rest in the fact that God can use us even when we haven’t yet “arrived”, because none of us will get there until we are glorified in the presence of Christ when we meet Him face to face. And because of these truths, we can boast in the LORD alone. Knowing that when he calls us , he promises to equip us .Hey Paola! I want to read through it again to really soak in the truths from the Word. Behold, it comes and it will happen,’ declares the Lord “Yet does not one in a heap of ruins stretch out his hand,But transgressors and sinners will be crushed together,The worm feeds sweetly till he is no longer remembered. In regard to all that this people call a conspiracy,And you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it.But to both the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over,And a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem.“Behold, My servants will shout joyfully with a glad heart,“You will leave your name for a curse to My chosen ones, and I will give you over into the hand of those who are seeking your life, yes, into the hand of those whom you dread, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of the Chaldeans.I will hurl you and your mother who bore you into another country where you were not born, and there you will die.But as for the land to which they desire to return, they will not return to it.But in the midst of the uncircumcised you will be broken and lie with those slain by the sword. Her little ones have sounded out a cry of distress.“I set a snare for you and you were also caught, O Babylon,We applied healing to Babylon, but she was not healed;“Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Thus all these things came into being,” declares the To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word. For You do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it;A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.Remove every obstacle out of the way of My people.”“Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry and struck him;And he went on turning away, in the way of his heart.I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners,Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near,”“There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
We throw things away when they’re broken, but God cherishes and uses broken people. What’s so interesting, is that the more I sought Him, the more I realized this brokenness was not about me. “God can use broken vessels. Too many young people in India consider suicide. I'd love to connect! You need to consider a relationship with Jesus. So, broken down, cracked pots, rejoice because God uses cracked pots so th I tried to commit suicide at 16 and I can tell you that is not the answer. Post was not sent - check your email addresses! But God uses broken vessels.

I feel like as much as I know this, I tend to forget and needed to remind myself YET AGAIN. My prayer is that here we'll find gospel-centered encouragement, rooted in the truth of God's word. God will use a broken life and a broken vessel.” Why would He choose to use weak, cracked and broken vessels?

I mean, it’s tempting –SOOOOOOO tempting– and I’ve SO been guilty of it, but I just can’t stomach it anymore. I was broken. Verse 7. Yes! I love how freeing it is to know that His power is made perfect in OUR weakness! Sarah, you have such a gift for writing.

That's the integrated blog of God Uses Broken Vessels and my website blog.
