The asteroid scene, in particular, had the black lines, just wasn't as bad as originally.

After booting the game up to change the resolution the black plane issue is now back, only in combat, however, but I found to stop this is to wait for the intro of the game to start and I load up back to my save, and my plane is fine--yet also in any resolution my plane always appears in a dark texture and lacks any lighting no matter how it's moved or positioned in maps.
