Today the water is still running out every 2-7 days but now the water runs all the way across the kitchen floor. If possible, we would like to join the class action lawsuit.WE purchased model RF263AEWP from Lowes about 2 years ago. We have attempted to reset it multiple time, but it doesn’t fix the issue. I tried going back to the store we bought it (Lowes)and asked if we could get a rebate or discount on another product. They won’t fix it. We unplugged it once in the last six months and let is totally defrost to see if that fixed it. Samsung won't comment on the lawsuit, but after we contacted the company's U.S. appliance division, it agreed to replace Coy's fridge. The 2019 class action lawsuits filed by Girard Sharp are not the first lawsuits claiming defects in the company’s fridges.
How does Samsung get away with selling this junk? I asked Florida Builder Appliances to give me a full refund and they have refused. TYWe have a model RF260BEASP and have had endless problems from day one. both the top ice maker and lower ice maker are not producing ice. It broke down three times since (first time right after warranty expired!!!!). You need to have contacted the lawyers handling this suit which was at the beginning of this blog and a long time ago. It is only about 5 years old and has been work on two times. Yes, I think I deserve to redress and reciprocity we need to made whole.we have a Samsung rf265 that has been having a freezing issue with the back of the fridge since a year after we purchased the frig from lowes. What a pain but cant afford a new one. He said Samsung will not take responsibility for it, but , I will join this class action suit for sure! Id like to be added to this class action to get a replacement or reimbursement for the coolers and 1000lbs of ice ive bought so far.I purchased a Samsung RS267TDRS along with a dishwasher, microwave & induction stove when I built my home in 2010. We normally see the ice form within the foam panel in the back of the fridge.In 3/2014 we bought a Samsung counter depth refrigerator RF197ACRS from Florida Builder Appliances. We periodically pull the drawer out and clean out the bottom but would like to know if there is anyway we can still participate in the class action suit. The ice maker actually snapped in half because it was too Frozen. We’ve lost out on a lot of money from the food that we had to throw out because the temperature in the refrigerator would drop. Water build up in the crisper drawers, ice sticking together, almost burning your hand if you touch it. We’ve had to defrost our too!I have had nothing but problems with my Samsung Model RF267AARS? I would like to be included in the class action lawsuit.
This is just awful. This was a huge expense for us and we are very disappointed with the quality and reliability. Unfortunately, it is happening closer and closer together so we have little time that our refrigerator actually works. Right now I have dry ice trying to keep things cool in the refrigerator; freezer works fine. We also had problems with water running from the water dispenser on front door of the refrigerator that wouldn’t shut off.We have had our Samsung RFG297 for a bit but just noticed last year that we started getting water under our deli drawer and it was freezing there making it impossible to pull the deli drawer out.
This is what will get their attention.I have a rs267td and I’m listening to the fan striking the ice build up this very moment. Our Refrigerator is model number RF217ACBP.Becky, we are having the exact same problem. The ice maker freezes up and has to be emptied on a regular basis or it will lock up expelling crushed ice continually & the only way to stop it is to open the freezer door completely disengaging it. Samsung needs to admit that they designed a low quality product and do whats best for their customers. Has been going on since a year after we purchased this hunk of junk. My towels keep getting bigger and bigger. Now the ice maker won’t work. Then you will see all of the ice. This time it won't start, it's been two days.
