We finally have 2 new lights - which is just in time for a heat wave and some warm nights where we might actually use our lights and keep the cover open! We love to pump it, filter it, heat it, chlorinate it, light it up and stare at it while we're barbequing a fat, juicy steak. Our lights, and our pool, are only just over 3 years old and we are now on our Pentair recently released a similar light called the Microbrite. Doing some searches the only ones I see mentioned in posts here on TFP are the SR Smith Treo LED lights - which look like they use the same 1 1/2" fitting that the Jandy Nicheless LED's do. Can't speak to longevity as they are not very old yet but during my research I had heard good things.
