You know me - I'd use my sewing machine to make neat gathers and perhaps even sew a strip of fabric along the gathers to keep them in line and easier to pull tight. I love fabric…I just have a thing for all the color and texture.

So many pretty patterns...You can always use sheets...I even have a couple of vintage sheets..Also make my dishtowels out of them...Then use them for rags later when getting "raggedy" Love the way she did her glass fronts! I am a fabric junkie! Usually the center panel from most cabinets can be removed and if you can't find glass you can have it cut. I love what you did, Kim! I made a bunch of fabric strips for the waste can I transformed in my last post. I made extra and used some spray starch to stiffen them a bit to use for a doorstop. You can also make a recessed panel using fabric and trim. Measure the width and height of your door to determine how many strips of wallpaper are needed to cover the surface (2 to 3 depending on the width of your roll). And it's cheap too! $139.99 $ 139. It's lovely both ways, but it's always nice when we make a change. I like the redo a lot though~ maybe it will keep me motivated to keep it clean all the time!

Wow this is a great tutorial with your easy to follow instructions that even I could do this! For $8 each, I found table skirts that perfectly cover the height of my damaged, mismatched cabinet doors, and measure 29 x 168 inches.

As for the hinges, Veronique says that when she re-hung her cabinet doors, her hinges were about 1 inch inside the cabinet, so it was easy to just fold or score the fabric to make it fit. I love to use scraps...nothing goes to waste! Velcro is one of man's greatest invention!!!! I absolutely love fabric. :)Love the fabric panels in the glass. That desk is such a catch all!
