After transplanting it into a better pot I waited two weeks and it showed little improvement. Originally, my peace lily was doing really well. It might take a little while for your peace lily to come back. Is it possible to dig up the bulbs and replant them? But why does she keep growing taller in stem without leaves getting bigger? Now it looks pathetic, still droopy, and yellow. Is there a way to revive it. I found the roots to be very wet and probably root bound. And what should i do to help it? This happens as the plant gets older and loses its older leaves, as all plants do. I know this sounds weird but it really helped my plants.
If your Peace Lily is drooping, take a closer look to see if you can see any insects or bugs at play. I watered it and it has been 24 hours with no change. Naturally, the plant will start to dehydrate and droop when this happens. The stems keep growing taller, so tall they can’t help but droop. My concern is that more of the leaves are turning yellow/brownish. The yellow leaves are obvious, there is a lot of dead stem residue, and it looked pretty bad. I used a small pair of clippers so I could reach into the middle of the plant to get as many stems as I could.It is hard to remove every piece of the brown dead stems but get as much off as you can.
So today, I repotted again with miracle grow pitting soil and watered. The leaf stalks in the center of the plant are standing as they should and are healthy. Any suggestions???
The next morning the leaves perked up and were more firm. I have repotted it, I have fertilized it and I water in only when the bottom drip pan is dry. I put water in a dish and then set the plant in the dish.
