I want a cuddle bird that wants to be with me and one that might talk a little. The senegals have a reputation for being one of the quieter birds. So in a couple months i will be getting a senegal parrot, but im scared that my other bird wont like them, or that they will fight.

It depends upon the nature of the bird but Senegals are kind of known to be aggressively anti-social with other birds. I am happy in my choice in buying Dusty. I just dont want to make a mistake as this is a forever home for the bird.

We have 2 green-cheeked conures (actually one is a mix with a red-belly) and we have a Senegal parrot (and several other birds including an African Grey - we have had a sun conure in the past).
