For this adventure I’m reading all I can to prepare for this transition to pyr-dome. I love all my dogs but the connection I have with her is so different than any I have ever had before. On average, Great Pyrenees should be between 100 to 160 pounds for a male and 85 to 115 pounds for a female. HIndsite, as much as I wanted a puppy, if we EVER get another one, it will be a 3+ year old rescue. We found it impossible to fit an hour+ into our weekly schedule to brush him, so he has a standing 1 hr appt every Tues 10:00am at the groomers for a simple brush out.
