Pretty hilarious and seems to be at least prolonged farm if not endless if you don’t move it at the end.I did it few days ago and the last wave indicator just stopped, and spawned another ten loads of enemies. fix this shit already bethesda. They have flying giant bats and you're surprised they use airborne infantry?Welcome to the Fallout Network subreddit for Fallout 76Press J to jump to the feed. I did the quest a few times today and it glitched out like this twice.Anybody else seen this or is it just news to me?
Have your friend build the Artillery item. Line in the Sand is a Fallout 76 Public Event. In Event: Line in the Sand, Players are to Defend the Sonic Generator from the Scorched.Public Events are quests that provide unique rewards during the available time the event is active. 1200 pounds of weapons and junk. They are basically community quests that can be taken on by anyone (not just those in your party) on the server, as long as they're nearby.
Place the item you want duplicated in the newly constructed Artillery Smoke Grenade Box, right next to the Artillery. We had a few people so it was fine but if I was alone it may have been tough.Come on Bethesda, fix this already! I don't normally do bug report content and I don't really want to. Still, totally worth it.I’ve never seen that before, did you still complete it?Welcome to the Fallout Network subreddit for Fallout 76Press J to jump to the feed. Line In the Sand batshit craziness Discussion I was just in a Line in the Sand event where instead of the scorched running in from a distance, all of them just fell out of the sky en mass right in front of the generator you're supposed to protect.
I run stealth/sniper and can easily one-shot each of them but not before they would've broken the damn sonic thingy. gave the event just the right amount of high energy, i enjoyed it.The only problem - hauling all that loot back to my camp.
Group up with a friend in Fallout 76. Did it make it easier at least?Under normal circumstances if I was doing this by myself, no. I have seen this happen twice and both times there was a tent blocking normal spawn points This seems plausible. I was just in a Line in the Sand event where instead of the scorched running in from a distance, all of them just fell out of the sky en mass right in front of the generator you're supposed to protect.

Scorched were spawning en masse directly above the sonic generator and falling to the ground in groups of 10-20ish. This happened every single wave. Thought someone was somehow doing it on purpose until I came on here and found it was a "thing" :)I think this happens when someone places their FA 1st tent to block the normal spawn points. Line in the Sand: Tents places on purpose to block easy mode? Then every subsequent wave after that. I moved the tent and it completed.I know it’s a glitch of sorts but it was hilarious seeing the level 70 odd who was the only one there when I arrived wonder wtf was going on and panic That happened once to me after update 19, good times! That glitch(?)
Luckily both times it glitched I was surrounded by peeps in PA just hosing bullets at everything. It was hilarious despite the initial confusion. This happened every single wave. It was nuts. You place your fallout first tent in a specific spot and it causes it. Million of them behind me / us. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts I've only recently come back to play Wastelanders so I may have missed a few bugs.Haha, that looks ridiculous! Over and over.

Everyone just faced inwards and waited for them to drop, then opened fire. There is a glitch where a well placed survival tent can force the Scorched to drop directly in front of the terminal making them easy prey.Yes.
I saw this yesterday and noticed a tent on the road near the spawn points as well.Lol I literally jumped from level 46 to 50 on 1 Line in the Sand event because of thisI hate doing this event in public cause every single fucking time it gets exploited.
Scorched were spawning en masse directly above the sonic generator and falling to the ground in groups of 10-20ish. Joined the event, got into position, and BAM! Just everyone facing that outer wall only to turn around the first time and see a dozen scorched behind us appearing literally out of thin air. This happened to me earlier today. You can get hits on nearly everything if you use explosives.first time ever I saw that happen today. Discussion These days I’d say 90% of the time either a tent is in the right spot to block the spawns or there’s a tent in the clearly wrong spot but close enough so that you can’t place a tent in the wrong spot.
