Leary uncovers a suspected pedophile ring preying on aboriginal boys.Da Vinci gives the go-ahead to establish the Red Light zone despite the opposition of Chief Jacobs and community groups. The search for a serial killer becomes a matter of life and death for detective Annie Redford, who is trying to cope with her first murder case. While never a ratings blockbuster, the critically acclaimed show did attract a loyal following, and ultimately seven seasons of thirteen episodes each were filmed for a total of ninety-one episodes.

But his grip on the city is undermined by bad press, opposition from the Solicitor General, and defections on City Council. But he must also work in holding together his caucus of City Councillors, and dealing with an uncooperative Police Chief who is at political and philosophical odds with the Mayor. The fact that it only lasted one Canadian season (13 episodes) is a tragedy. Davinci's Inquest was so well written, acting awesome, really enjoyed the series. The fact that it only lasted one Canadian season (13 episodes) is a tragedy. Former Vancouver City Coroner, Dominic Da Vinci, has just been elected Mayor of Vancouver. So take heart, there is much more to the story. Welcome to the NWO and tolerating wickedness in government/calling good evil and evil good. The one thing this show isn't is boring! I was tremendously impressed by his deep understanding of the strengths people develop in their merchant/vaishya lives that prepare them to become warriors who care for and protect others - a prime example being Mary Spalding, played to perfection by Klea Scott. Gave up before finishing the series.
